Spring Banner

Here is my first banner made for the banners and garlands class from Get It Scrapped.

I used spring MM paper from last year, crepe paper medallions (with some glitter added), and pom pom trim from my mom. I made the scallops by punching scalloped circles and solid circles, gluing them together, cutting them in half and laying them along the edge of each banner piece.

The whole thing is attached with silver pipe cleaners, adorned with ribbons. I think that was the trickiest part.

MFT Idol Entry

Here is my entry for the MFT idol contest. This was one of the first MFT sets I bought, and still one of my favorites.

I like to think of this as a card and gift in one. The plant poke can be removed and used in a garden. I paper pieced the image with a mix of papers. The ribbon is May Arts, and some of the paper is SU! and some is actually from the $1 store! Buttons were from my stash, and I'm not sure where the hemp string is from. Plant poke was from the Target $1 spot last year.

Verve sketch challenge

Here is my card for the Verve sketch challenge. I used Verve stamps and my new Papertrey Ink ink pads and SU! I also finally used my new Nesties...loving those. Added a little bling to the scallops and the butterflies, and I was done!
